High Chaparral is the rail-switch world, RAIL SWITCH: the western town at night, its lanterns and smoke, and the old mine's rails glowing through it. The cart rolls itself; a TAP throws the next switch — the glowing one — between its upper and lower rail, and a second tap throws it back. Read the rail it sets: a burnt-out trestle, the bandits' barricade, a runaway ore cart or the robbers' steam train, and throw it in time. Down Main Street, into the saloon, over the water tower, round the Natchez's waterway and up into the mine. Five sheriff stars wait on the side rails. Tap the playfield or use the shown controls to play.
